Silas Home Care, Inc. announced that it has entered into a business relationship with Cardiocom® to provide advanced home telehealth technology to patients with chronic illness. Cardiocom, the Experts in Telehealth(SM), is a world class developer, manufacturer and clinical service provider of award-winning telehealth solutions.

Cardiocom’s telehealth system provides an interactive opportunity to proactively manage patient care. Every day, patients of Silas Home Care use the Cardiocom Telehealth System to communicate with a Silas home health nurse. The Home Telemonitoring System guides the patient through an interactive Health Check and collection of vital signs including: weight, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, blood glucose and heart rate. This information is immediately transmitted via a standard phone line to the patient’s caregiver for review.
